Don't let the name fool ya... All are welcome... 49ers fans are just always welcome... I want it to stay nice and drama free in here... No BS, no bashing individuals, teams yes but posters no... Give me a break lets all act our age not out shoe size... For some the shoe size may actually be higher then your age so you are excused and not welcome in that case... I would like all to act in some adult fashion here, if you can not please move along...

So with that said... Sports, Food, Women, Beer, and anything worth talking about is cool... So pull up a chair, order a drink and may we all get along... Cheers!!!!

Nice Blog.  I'm spending the day trying to decide whether or not i like the idea PacMan coming to Dallas. Jerry Jones has done really well in keeping our players out of trouble (TO, Tank) but i think he took too big of bit with PacMan.

What do you think your 49ers will do in the draft? It would be great to see them be dominatent again. I kinda miss the days of Young vs Aikman and Irvin vs Rice.

49ers Saloon....

Lions fan here in INDIANA,

Just came across something new and thought i would stop in and say,Nice weather here in the Hoosier state today 'bout time.

I have a good friend thats a niners fan and i always give him flak about them and of course he does the same. I was a big Ronnie Lott fan back in the day and a Montana fan and a Craig fan.I like any good player no matter the team!

Being a Lions fan i haven't had much to cheer for in many years so i hope this is the year something in the house stays unbroken.

Well gotta go good luck with the 49ers!

PEACE...

What's up 9iner...good job on your blog man. This is probably the only way I will post for now on...I'm so sick and tired of posters that take shots at others and the complete stupidity of this hacking crap of pm's. Trolls are retarded and people with multiple accounts are the same. May they all burn in he!!.

Anyways, I long for the days of the great rivalry between the 49iners and the Cowboys of the past to return to glory. Mavericks are dead. Evey player on that trade the Mavs got are past their prime or should be in the D league. Sucks for us. The warriors destroyed the Mavs and I hated every minute of it. What a slap in the face. Thanks Cuban for making Dallas the city of heartless B-ball.

Holla 9iner.

You being a 49er fan, I was wondering what your opinion is of Mr. Alex Smith.  Is this his make or break year?  I'm a huge NFL fan but I have not really had a chance to see this guy play on a regular basis.  I know he was hurt, but I have not heard anything from the "experts" on whether this guy is going to last or heading towards bustville.

Alex Smith has struggled and put similar numbers to one Drew Brees during his first few years.

Smith's fate will be decided this season. I expect a 6-10 type season, so letting Alex play the entire year - sans him getting injured - should firm up if he can cut it or not. His contract was extended through 2011, but if he struggles again this year its time to go in a different direction.

Now, Nolan's job is on the line, so if the 9ers start out 0-3 Alex could get the hook for Prime Time Hill, who showed the ability to win games without putting up star numbers.
